Makarska - a beautiful harbor, surrounded by two peninsulas and with the mountain of Biokovo, rising above it is one of the most popular tourist destinations in Croatia.

It is famous for its long beaches, clean sea, rich shade under the fragrant pine trees, long walking trails along the Makarska Riviera, summer evenings filled with various cultural events, charming restaurants, cafes and night clubs.

Biokovo Nature Park, botanical garden and the city’s harbor are one of its most precious gems, as well as The Malacological museum which houses the biggest seashell collection in this part of Europe.
